Your child could be the Kidspo Cover Kid…
Purpose: To give parents the outlet to put their special cute photos to the test against other cute kids in the area.
Ages 12 and younger. One photo per contestant.
Parent or legal guardian must approve submission of the contestant’s photo. By submitting a photo, parent or legal guardian grants Kingsport Publishing Corporation the right to publish submitted photo, child’s name, city, and any captions submitted on the Kidspo Cover Kid website and/or marketing materials. Slight photo alterations may be made by our staff in order to fit our site or email newsletters properly. The Publisher has a right to retain an electronic copy of the photograph and to use the image of the photograph for any editorial or promotional or other purposes whether for profit or not for profit in any publication, newspaper compilation, magazine, book, volume or medium at the publishers discretion.
Inappropriate imagery will not be accepted. The Kidspo Cover Staff reserves all rights to refuse any photograph that they define as unacceptable.
Every photo is seen and voted on with clear instruction to choose “The Kidspo Cover Kid” with no discrimination towards sex, race, or age. Our online scoring system tracks every vote and calculates total votes. Please only one vote per email address, per day. Voting ends September 12, 2008 at 5:00 pm. All decisions are final.
Grand Prize includes winners photo on the Cover of the Kidspo Tab revealed on September 25 to 100,000 readers and a children’s bunk bed set from Grand Home Furnishings of Kingsport.
First Runner up will receive a $100 gift certificate from Kingsport Town Center.
Second Runner up will receive a Photo Portrait Session and Canvas Portrait from Olan Mills.
Prizes are based on availability and are subject to change. In the unlikely circumstance this may occur, a prize substitution of equal or greater value will be given.
If a professional photo is submitted to our contest, The Kingsport Publishing Corporation will not be held responsible for lost or damaged photos. It is recommended that parent or guardian receive rights to use the photo prior to contest submission.

Contestants must reside in Northeast Tennessee or Southeast Virginia.
Family members of Kingsport Times-News employees are ineligible.
